Waterloo Regional Police are investigating their third pharmacy robbery in Cambridge since Christmas Eve – and they believe the same man is responsible for all three.

Around 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, police say, a man left the Shoppers Drug Mart on Holiday Inn Drive having robbed the store of prescription painkillers and cash.

Security cameras captured images of a white man, 5’9” to 5’11” tall, with a stocky build.

The man in the images was wearing a black and grey toque, a dark grey scarf, a beige winter jacket, blue jeans and dark boots.

Police belief the thief is the same person who stole painkillers from the Shoppers Drug Mart on King Street East last week, and from the Preston Medical Pharmacy on Dec. 24.

Anyone with information is asked to contact police or Crime Stoppers.
