$30K worth of steel stolen from Guelph business

Guelph Police have released a series of images as they try to identify the people behind a steel theft.

Officers were called to a business near Elmira Road North and Massey Road on Dec. 16. They were told steel tubes had been taken from the yard over the previous days. The tubes ranged from three feet to 12 feet in length.

Surveillance video from nearby businesses captured two males arriving at the property in a white cube van around 2 a.m. on Dec. 15. The pair then spent nearly two hours at the property before leaving in the van.

Both suspects appeared the be white males and wore jackets, dark coloured-jeans, white shoes, gloves and face coverings.
