An 18-year-old man has been charged with mischief after allegedly shooting a drone belonging to a 13-year-old boy out of the sky.
Norfolk County OPP say the incident brought them to a property on Highway 59 in the South Walsingham area, north of Port Rowan, around 8 p.m. Monday.
According to police, the boy had lost control of the drone while flying it on his family’s property. The drone then landed on a neighbour’s property.
Police say the drone had been shot down by the neighbour.
