Crews were called to a fire at a school in New Hamburg early Wednesday morning.

Firefighters arrived at Forest Glen Public School on Waterloo Street shortly after 5 a.m. and found two portables at the back of the school on fire.

Both portables are heavily damaged.

Crews from New Hamburg, Baden and New Dundee responded to the call.

The Waterloo Regional Police Identification Unit and the Ontario Fire Marshal’s Office were also called in to investigate.

Officials expect to be on scene most of the day.

There are no reports of injuries and the cause has yet to be determined.
