Western University has cancelled an orientation week concert by singer Sean Kingston after learning he's been sued for sexual assault.

The U.S. singer was set to perform in London next Saturday.

Western officials say it pulled the plug on the concert because it would undermine the school’s message of zero tolerance for sexual violence.

Kingston settled a $5 million lawsuit with a woman who claimed she was ‘gang raped’ by the star.

Despite cancelling the concert, the university will pay Kingston as part of his contract.
