PHILADELPHIA - A Tillsonburg, Ont. man wanted on sexual assault and child pornography charges has been returned to Canada by U.S. authorities.

U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement officials say William John Krygsman, 41, was handed over to Canadian authorities today.

Krygsman was arrested in May 2004 by the FBI in Atlanta where he had arranged to meet a mother -- an undercover agent -- and her supposed prepubescent child.

He was convicted of use of mail or foreign commerce to entice a minor in November 2004 and sentenced to nine years in prison.

Within days of Krygsman's conviction, the Tillsonburg businessman was charged with 10 offences by Canadian police.

At the conclusion of his sentence, Krygsman was arrested and detained in Pennsylvania until his deportation from the United States.
