A Clifford man has been arrested for hitting two people in the head with a hammer.
OPP say Eli Cook and another man had been drinking in a garage behind 14 William Street North.
There was a physical altercation and Cook left.
Half an hour later, Cook returned to the garage and struck the man in the head with a hammer.
Another man tried to intervene and he was also hit in the head.
Police say they were not serious hurt.
Cook, 29, is facing two counts of assault with a weapon.
