The arrest of a 28-year-old Wilmot resident has led to two additional arrests in a series of break and enters, according to Waterloo Regional police.

Members of the North and South Crime Management team reportedly arrested the 28-year-old on Jan. 26 in connection with a robbery on Fallowfield Drive in Kitchener.

Further investigation led to a number of charges being laid including; two counts of break, enter and theft, one count of break and enter with intent, three counts of attempted break and enter and one count of possession of a controlled substance.

The man was held for show cause.

Following additional investigation into the series of break-ins, a 24-year-old male and a 24-year-old female, both of Kitchener, were arrested on Monday.

The Kitchener man has been charged with three attempted break and enters, two break, enter and thefts, break and enter with intent and two counts of possession of a controlled substance.

The woman has been charged with two attempted break and enters and one count of break and enter with intent.
