Two tenants of a Cambridge building are facing arson and drug-related charges in relation to a fire which left them and two other people homeless.

Waterloo Regional Police say the man and woman are charged with various criminal offences in connection with the April 6 fire on McNaughton Avenue.

Specifically, they face charges of arson with disregard for human life, arson damaging property, drug production and drug possession.

The building’s second storey collapsed shortly after fire crews arrived at the scene.

No injuries were reported in the fire.
