SARNIA, Ont. - Police have laid more charges against three men accused of attempted murder in a shooting near Sarnia.

The men from the Hamilton and Niagara areas were arrested after a 31-year-old man was shot in a residence in Wyoming, east of Sarnia, on Feb. 28.

Robert Gibson, 31, of Hamilton, Jason Venne, 32, of Burlington, and Thomas Nagy, 22, of Niagara Falls, now face additional charges including robbery with a firearm, possession of a controlled substance, aggravated assault and several weapons offences.

Venne is also charged with failing to comply with court orders, while Nagy is charged with pointing a firearm and discharging it with intent to wound.

All three remain in custody.

Venne and Nagy are scheduled to appear in court Monday.
