OAKVILLE, Ont. -- Halton regional police are now linking a single suspect to eight bank robberies in southern Ontario.
Investigators say the robberies have occurred at banks in Oakville, Burlington and Kitchener since Jan. 3.
The latest robbery happened Tuesday when a man entered a Scotiabank branch in Oakville and fled on foot with some cash.
Investigators say no weapons were indicated by the suspect or observed by bank employees, and no one was injured.
The suspect is described as a white man, five-foot-10 to six-foot-two, 200 to 250 pounds, with a chubby face with a wide jaw.
