Two men and one child face nearly 20 charges after allegedly luring a Stratford teenager into the world of human trafficking.

According to Stratford Police, the teenager was forced into the human trafficking trade earlier this summer.

The trio have been charged with a combined 19 criminal offences, including human trafficking, forcible confinement, and procurement.

Police say they’re still looking to make one more arrest in connection with the case.

Additionally, they’re warning people to be vigilant when meeting strangers online, particularly if the stranger seems to be presenting them with a proposition “that sounds too good to be true.”

Waterloo Regional Police were also involved in the investigation.
