The following is a list of cancellations and closures for Thursday, Dec. 12, 2024.
WEATHER WARNING
Environment Canada has issued a blowing snow advisory for Kitchener - Cambridge - Region of Waterloo. Expect reduced visibility due to snow being blown around by westerly winds, gusting up to 70 km/h.
A snow squall warning has been issued for Listowel - Milverton - Northern Perth County. Blowing snow conditions are likely Thursday morning, with heavy snowfall with accumulations of 15 to 20 cm through until Friday.
SCHOOL BOARDS
- All School buses, taxis and special education routes are cancelled for the Waterloo Catholic District School Board and Waterloo Region District School Board.
- Elma Township Public School and St. Michael Catholic Secondary School are closed.
- Huron Perth Student Transportation Services has also cancelled most buses.
