The province’s police watchdog has been called in following a high speed chase and rollover near Wyoming, east of Sarnia Saturday afternoon.
Lambton OPP tried to pull over a vehicle in the Petrolia area. The vehicle drove away, eventually leaving the roadway and flipping over into a field, west of Wyoming. The driver tried to flee on foot but was arrested and taken to Bluewater Hospital along with two passengers.
Police say the driver and two passengers were treated for non-life threatening injuries.
The province’s Special Investigation Unit has been notified and has invoked its mandate.
