Shots allegedly fired at vehicle parked at Kitchener convenience store: WRPS
Waterloo regional police are investigating after someone allegedly shot a gun at two people in a vehicle parked at a Kitchener convenience store early Thursday morning.
The incident happened in a parking lot in the area of Highland Road and Westmount Road around 2:45 a.m.
No one was injured in the incident, according to police.
The suspect is described as a Black man who was wearing all dark clothing. He was seen fleeing the scene in a grey vehicle that was waiting nearby, police said.
On Friday, police released an image of a person in the area at the time of the incident that they're looking to speak to.

Residents who live in the area say they are shaken by the shooting.
"My heart kind of fell into my stomach because I thought, in my area? That's not allowed. That shouldn't happen here," said Shannon Wendorf who lives nearby and often shops at the convenience store. "That's too close for comfort and way too scary for me."
"I'm honestly getting sick and tired of the shootings," said area resident Christina Miller. "It's ridiculous. They are getting out of hand."
There was an increased police presence in the area Thursday while officers investigated.
