A 27-year-old woman is facing charges after allegedly loading some of her belongings into a shopping cart and pushing it down a hill into live traffic.
Brantford Police say the unusual incident brought them to Terrace Hill Street around 5:45 p.m. Sunday.
Officers had been asked to visit a residence on Terrace Hill to “help keep the peace” while a woman moved out.
For some reason, police say, the woman became unhappy and decided to push a shopping cart containing some of her possessions down the sloped street.
At the bottom of the hill, the cart collided with a vehicle, causing significant damage to one of the vehicle’s doors.
The woman now faces charges including mischief endangering life.
