LAKESHORE, Ont. -- A school bus full of children was rear-ended by a truck at a railroad crossing this morning in Lakeshore, east of Windsor, but police say no one on board the bus was hurt.
Provincial police say the crash occurred when the school bus driver stopped at the railroad crossing (on Tecumseh Road near Claireview Drive) and was rear-ended by a full-size Ford pickup truck.
While the bus was loaded with children at the time, police say the driver and the children were uninjured in the crash.
The driver of the pickup truck sustained minor injuries.
The investigation is continuing at the scene of the collision.
