A school bus driver is accused of causing a crash while driving in Kincardine, provincial police say.

According to the South Bruce OPP, there were 17 students aboard the bus at 8:24 a.m. Monday, when the crash occurred.

The driver allegedly missed his turn from Durham Street onto MacKendrick Street, then put the bus in reverse – striking a passenger vehicle that was traveling behind it.

There were no injuries reported, although the passenger vehicle received some damage.

Charles Crawford, 59, is charged with making an unsafe start.
