32-year-old Robin Alexander Maness is wanted on outstanding warrants in relation to a north end home invasion. He is also wanted on attempted murder charges, along with numerous other offences.
Police say yesterday night there was an attempt to arrest him. As they approached the vehicle he was in he sped off attempting to strike one of the arresting officers. A second officer then discharged this fire arm.
Both Maness and a female passenger fled the area. Police pursued the vehicle for a short distance, but called off the chase for fear of public safety.
Police say Maness is considered armed and dangerous. If located do not approach, instead notify police immediately.
Also wanted in connection with the home invasion is Kassandra Arsenault age 21 years.
