Ontario raw milk crusader Michael Schmidt says he'd rather go to prison than pay the fine he was given last week.
Schmidt was handed a $9,150 fine and one year of probation Friday on convictions related to selling and distributing unpasteurized milk.
A court in September rejected Schmidt's argument that his "cow share" operation exempted him from the legislation.
Schmidt says if he paid the fine, it would be like admitting guilt.
