More than one month after the murder of Devane Campbell, police are appealing to the public to help identify two vehicles of interest that may be connected to the shooting.

Campbell, 20, was killed Nov. 30 in a townhouse complex on Elm Ridge Drive in Kitchener. An autopsy concluded that he died of gunshot wounds.

Police say Campbell, a Brantford resident, was at the complex visiting a friend.

Investigators say the death is not considered random, and they believe Campbell may have been involved in a confrontation with two or more people.

Two vehicles that were seen in the area around the time of the shooting are of interest to police.

One is described as a dark-coloured four-door vehicle which was parked in the driveway of the complex. The other is described as a silver or grey Honda-type vehicle that was seen leaving the complex shortly after the shooting.

Anyone with information is asked to contact homicide investigators at 519-650-8500 ext. 8666 or Crime Stoppers.
