Police stop alleged impaired driver on one rim on Highway 401

KITCHENER -- Provincial police say they pulled over a car travelling on one rim on Highway 401.

The driver was spotted by members of the Elgin and Middlesex OPP, according to a tweet from the OPP West Region around 8 p.m. Thursday.

Members of Elgin & #MiddlesexOPP responded to reports of a car traveling on HWY 401 on one rim. Officers stopped the motor vehicle and placed the impaired driver under arrest. Officers pulled over the vehicle and say the driver was impaired.

The driver was arrested, police say.
