Waterloo Regional Police are looking for a suspect in connection with an alleged robbery in Kitchener.
According to police, a teenage boy was walking on Chandler Drive toward Strasburg Road on May 13 when he was approached by another man who demanded the teen’s cellphone.
The suspect allegedly brandished a knife and threatened the victim.
Police say the victim tried to fight off his attacker, but was then held down by two other men who arrived on the scene and took cash from him.
The three men then allegedly left the scene on foot, chased by the victim until he realized he had a stab wound in his hip/buttock area.
The suspect believed to have stabbed the victim, pictured above, is described as white, about 25 years old and 5’7” with no facial hair, a thin face, protruding cheekbones, a muscular jaw, a pointed nose, a small upper lip, a think neck with a visible Adam’s apple and crooked top teeth.
Police say he was wearing a mustard-coloured hoddie with black strings and black handwriting on the chest area, as well as a navy blue baseball cap with white writing, darker pants, VANS brand shoes and Nike baseball gloves with lies on the fingers.
The suspect allegedly spoke with a lot of slang and walked with a limp.
