Waterloo region police are investigating an alleged pharmacy robbery on Friday afternoon in Waterloo.
In a tweet sent out just after 3 p.m., police said they responded to reports of a pharmacy being robbed in the area of Erb Street West and Amos Avenue.
“A firearm was brandished during the incident before the suspects fled in a vehicle,” police said.
There will be an increased police presence in the area.
