Oxford County OPP say 49-year-old Tillsonburg man Clifford Dietz was killed Thursday in a collision in Norwich Township, northeast of Tillsonburg.
Police say Dietz was driving a minivan that collided with a Jeep on Oxford County Road 13 near its intersection with Ninth Road at 12:30 p.m.
According to police, the Jeep was travelling northbound on County Road 13 and the van travelling southbound.
Dietz was pronounced dead at the scene. The two people in the jeep and five passengers in the van were taken to hospitals in Ingersoll and Tillsonburg with non-life-threatening injuries.
Police remained at the scene of the crash well into Thursday evening.
The cause of the crash was not immediately available.
