A quantity of pills were stolen from a pharmacy in a Kitchener grocery store.
Police say they were called to the Sobeys store on Fischer-Hallman Road at Westmount Road around 8 p.m. Thursday after receiving a report of a robbery.
A lone man entered the store, approached the pharmacy counter, brandished a weapon and asked for pills. The pharmacist complied and the man then left the scene.
The suspect is described as a white man, 5’2” with an average build. He was wearing a dark toque, jacket and pants, and has his face covered by a scarf or jacket collar. He was also wearing black gloves with white tips on the fingers.
