Pedestrian taken to hospital after Kitchener crash

A pedestrian was taken to a hospital outside the region after she was struck by a vehicle in Kitchener.

On Wednesday, Waterloo Regional Police were called to the Queen Street South and Courtland Avenue Werst area around 8:30 a.m.

They said a 31-year-old woman had been hit by the driver of a Mazda.

The driver, a 25-year-old man, was not hurt.

Anyone who witnessed the crash, or has dash camera footage, is urged to reach out to police.
