Some late-night and early-morning drivers in Cambridge will have to get used to another detour next week.

The intersection of King and Eagle streets is expected to be closed to vehicles between 9 p.m. and 6 a.m. for four nights, starting June 19. The start date could be pushed back if weather is an issue.

The recommended detour for drivers is along Fountain Street, Maple Grove Road, Hespeler Road and Bishop Street.

Region of Waterloo officials say pedestrians will be able to get around the construction work, and businesses at the intersection will remain accessible.

Elsewhere in Cambridge, Speedsville Road reopened this week after being closed for more than a month.
