A police helicopter and specialized underwater searchers have been called in to join the search for a missing swimmer in Lake Huron.
According to South Bruce OPP, a 23-year-old man from Aurora was reported missing Thursday evening, off the shore of a private cottage area on the Saugeen First Nation, south of Sauble Beach.
He was last seen swimming in a rocky area of the lake.
Police describe Garrett Lewis as 6’1” tall with a thin build and short, light blonde hair. He was last seen in sand-coloured shorts.
