BRANT COUNTY, Ont. - Police are investigating after one man died and seven people were sent to hospital when a van crashed outside Brantford this morning.
Sgt. Dean Skelding says nine people were in the vehicle when it went off the road on Pleasant Ridge in Brant County around 7:30 a.m.
The van rolled several times and one male passenger was ejected from the vehicle.
Skelding says seven of the passengers were rushed to Brantford General hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
He says the man who was ejected in the crash was taken to a Hamilton hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Police say the van's driver was not injured in the crash.
