WALKERTON, Ont. -- Officials say a norovirus outbreak has been confirmed at a long-term care facility in Walkerton.

Bruce County officials say some at Brucelea Haven are showing signs of vomiting and diarrhea, which are symptoms of the virus.

Visitors are still allowed, but are asked to wash their hands when they arrive and again when they leave.

Meanwhile, the facility has suspended communal activities until the outbreak is over.
