Waterloo Regional Police have charged a two-year member of the Service for an off-duty incident that occurred on August 11, 2012.
Constable Krista McCutcheon, a patrol officer working out of Central Division, has been charged with assault and released on a promise to appear with conditions. She will appear in Kitchener Provincial Court on September 11, 2012.
The victim in this incident received minor injuries.
The Professional Standards Branch will also be reviewing the incident. Police say McCutcheon has been assigned to administrative duties until further notice.
