Damage was extensive but nobody was hurt in a early-morning crash in New Hamburg.

A pickup truck was driving down Waterloo Street. Missing a curve in the road at Hannah Street, the truck went across the lawn and onto the front porch, smashing through support columns.

Bricks and debris were strewn across the lawn and the street.

Most of the house was avoided by the driver, but the truck sustained heavy damage.

The driver is facing a charge of carless driving.
