She was already facing charges of impersonating a nurse, now a southern Ontario woman faces more charges in a widening police investigation.

CTV News first reported on a woman posing as a registered nurse at a Long Term Care Home in Mitchell.

Now, 36-year-old Eva Donna Okello is facing new charges in connection with care for residents at a Kitchener home.

Police have charged her common-law husband, the owner of an employment agency that placed her in the home.

"Although she does not have qualifications allegedly as a registered nurse was hired through an employment agency for health care workers that is operated allegedly by Mr. Matthew," Olaf Heinzel of Waterloo Regional Police says.

Police now say Okello was doing the same thing at Lanark Heights Long-Term Care in Kitchener between April and September 2011.

"We are working with the long term care facility in Kitchener at this time to make any determination if the action they took had any detrimental effect," Heinzel says.

Police charged Okello and her common law partner 28-year-old Paul Matthew with fraud, impersonation, common nuisance and conspiracy.

The investigation has included long-term care facilities in Toronto, Hamilton, Kitchener and Perth County.

Police say Okello was using the name "Eva Klein" and was hired through health-care related employment agencies owned and managed by Matthew.

Okello is also facing additional charges including trafficking of a controlled substance.

Police say at this point there is nothing to suggest anyone was harmed as a result of this alleged employment at Lanark Heights Long Term Care.

Paul Matthew remains in police custody. He will have a bail hearing on Friday.

Eva Donna Okello is expected to appear in court on April 26th.
