A 29-year-old Kitchener man was airlifted to hospital Sunday after his motorcycle struck a car in Wilmot.

Police say the car was attempting to turn left out of driveway on Snyder's Road East around 5:30 p.m.

The motorcyclist, who has not been named, was airlifted to a London hospital with serious injuries.

The driver of the car, a 22-year-old woman from Petersburg, was not hurt.

Police say charges are pending.

“We’re looking into speed and alcohol at this time,” said WRPS Acting Sergeant Byron Harding.

The road was closed between Notre Dame Drive and Trussler Road for some time while investigators were on scene.
