Prior to joining CTV Kitchener as assignment reporter in 2017, Christina Succi was a reporter and 11 o'clock anchor for Global News in Alberta. Originally born and raised in Toronto, Christina got her start in the industry as writer for TSN's Sportscentre in 2015.
As Christina's passion for news grew, she was inspired to explore the rest of Canada. She decided to trade the city lights of Toronto for the beautiful prairies of Alberta in 2016.
During her year there, Christina covered the trial of David and Collet Stephan, she told the story of Canadian farmers calling on the government deregulate industrial hemp, and an exclusive story told by Christina, caused an asphalt company to withdraw their proposal to build an asphalt processing plant in a local community.
Christina graduated with Highest Honours from Queen's University in Kingston, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts and a Bachelor of Education.
When Christina isn't reporting, you can find her cheering on her Habs or taking her two yellow labs for a hike. As an avid supporter of animal rights, Christina enjoys donating her time to charitable animal causes and local dog rescues.
Christina is thrilled to return to the Bell Media family and to be back home in Ontario.
