Waterloo Regional Police are searching for one person in connection with an armed robbery at a Kitchener convenience store.

Police say KC Convenience at Victoria Street and Lawrence Avenue was robbed Saturday night, by a man who entered the store, displayed a weapon and demanded cash.

The man then left the store. A search by police dogs failed to find him.

Police describe their suspect as a young man, approximately 20 years of age.

They say he stands 5’6” tall and was wearing a black, puffy, hooded jacket with a grey fur hood liner, a black balaclava, blue or faded black jeans, high-top running shoes and black gloves.
