Stu Gooden
November, 2019: Stu Gooden is no longer with the company.
Stu Gooden joined the CTV Kitchener newsteam in spring of 2017 as a videojournalist.
He’s a proud graduate of Fanshawe College’s broadcast journalism and television news programs.
The Brantford native got his start in the industry spending three years in Western Canada. He worked for Newcap News in Lloydminster doing a number of behind-the-scene roles, before moving to Saskatoon to work for CTV News spending most of his time as a sports anchor and reporter, and then Global News as a news reporter.
Stu is happy to back in Ontario sharing stories with Waterloo Region and surrounding area. He thinks this is the best place in the world to live.
When he’s not busy chasing a story, you can find Stu in the gym, and exploring the many hiking trails the area has to offer.
