Two Kitchener residents are facing charges following a traffic stop in Guelph.

Police say the 28-year-old man and woman were arrested Wednesday afternoon, and charged with drug possession after cocaine and marijuana were found in their vehicle.

It was the second time the man had been arrested in the past month.

He had previously been arrested in late September after allegedly ramming multiple police vehicles while attempting to evade arrest in Guelph.

Police say they had been looking for the man to charge him with mischief over $5,000 in connection with that incident, as they had recently learned that the total damage to police vehicles exceeded $5,000.
