A vehicle crashed through the front of a Stratford business on Tuesday afternoon.

Witnesses say the collision occurred around 2 p.m. at the Circle K convenience store on the corner of Graff Avenue and Mornington Street.

Stratford police found that a pedestrian was struck in the incident as well. They were taken to hospital for minor injuries.

The driver of the sedan was also treated at the scene for minor injuries and did not need to be taken to hospital.

The cause of the crash is still under investigation. Police say they have not laid any charges but it's not clear if that will change or not.

No damage estimate has been given but the storefront and the vehicle both sustained signifcant damage.

A witness who owns a business in the plaza says another vehicle crashed into the same store back in 2015.

Police went a step further, saying that a third vehicle had crashed into the same plaza four years earlier.

In each case, police say the driver accelerated instead of braked, propelling the vehicle into the storefronts.

Stranger still: each incident happened around 2:25 p.m.
