LONDON, Ont. - A mixed martial arts fighter from the United States has been acquitted of sexual assault charges in London, Ont.

Kasheem Peterson, 29, was accused by a woman he met at a London bar in April.

A jury found the Las Vegas-based fighter not guilty Tuesday night of sexual assault, choking and forcible confinement.

The 22-year-old woman claimed Peterson attacked her in her SUV after they left a London bar around 6:30 a.m.

Peterson claimed the woman consented to having sex in the vehicle, but he suffered an episode of erectile dysfunction.
