Waterloo Regional Police have released new details about a shooting in downtown Kitchener on June 30th. Three men were shot at while they walking on Wellington Street just before 5 a.m.
Police say they have a surveillance video recorded the night of the incident. On the tape is a man they believe to be Mark Robert Lucas.
Lucas is currently wanted on a Canada-wide warrant for firearm offences. He is described as:
- White
- 26 years old
- 6’1”
- 200 lbs.
- Long, dark hair
- Possibly a full beard
- Wearing a trench coat
- Likes to ride bicycles and skateboards
Police would like to speak with Lucas in connection to the shooting, but they are also warning the public that he may be armed and should be considered dangerous. Anyone who may have seen him is asked to call police immediately.
They also say a black Ford F150 pickup truck was seen in the area at the time of the shooting, and they are actively trying to locate the owner.
