Theft from retail store leads to arrest in Huron County

South Huron OPP have laid charges following a theft from a retail store north of Grand Bend.

According to police, the theft happened sometime on Jan. 12.

Staff provided descriptions of the suspect and their vehicle to police.

Officers were able to identify the suspect and arrested a 24-year-old man on Jan. 16.

He has been charged with theft under $5,000.

He is scheduled to appear in a Goderich courtroom in February.
