London police lay manslaughter charge after assault victim dies

London police have arrested a suspect in the death of a 40-year-old man.

Police say Daniel Brand died in hospital from serious injuries when he was assaulted in the early morning hours of Saturday.

They say officers have charged 26-year-old Chad William Thomas Hallett with manslaughter.

Hallett also faces a charge of assault causing bodily harm in an earlier incident.
