Dozens of candles filled Sai Bhakiti Dham Hindu Temple Saturday night in Kitchener as family and friends gathered to remember a victim of the mass shooting in Kenya.

Rajan Solanki died last Saturday when terrorists stormed the Westgate Mall in Nairobi.  Solanki was among 67 people were killed in the attack.  Pragna Gohil is still in shock as tries to come to terms with the passing of Rajan.  She describes her nephew as an avid cook who loved to blog about food.  He just recently got engaged.

“He was a really jolly person.  He always liked to joke around.” Gohil says. “His mom, dad and sister are really taking it hard.  But I hope God is watching him.”

Gohil’s brother called her with the devastating news.

Kenya’s security services made another arrest Sunday in connection with the attack.  12 people have been arrested since the attack but according to Kenya’s Interior Minister Joseph Ole Lenku three people have been freed.

Investigators have also identified a car used by the gunmen, from the Somalia-based Islamist group al-Shabab, and found in it "an assortment of illegal weapons," Lenku said.

The Red Cross says 59 people remain missing, though the government puts that number at zero.
