An additional 16 charges have been laid against a Listowel man in connection with a search warrant executed at his home more than one year ago.

In July 2015, John Stone was arrested on charges including child luring, sexual assault, sexual interference, indecent exposure and trafficking crystal meth.

Police said at the time that all of the charges involved events alleged to have happened between 2012 and 2015.

Thirty more charges in the same vein were laid the following month.

On Friday, police announced another round of charges against the 54-year-old.

Specifically, Stone faces seven counts of arranging to commit a sexual offence against a child, five courts of procuring to have illicit sexual intercourse, two counts of online luring, and one count apiece of making and distributing child pornography.
