Roads in part of central Cambridge were closed Monday evening as fire crews battled flames and smoke at a commercial site.

Fire was reported around 5:45 p.m. at the Waste Management site on Conestoga Boulevard.

Few details were initially available, but the Cambridge fire department tweeted that they had a “large working fire” and asked residents to stay out of the area.

As of 6:30 p.m., Conestoga was closed between Bishop Street and Sheldon Drive.

The fire department later said that the facility's roof had partially collapsed.

Nobody was injured, the fire department said.
