The Waterloo Regional Police Service is seeking the public's assistance with an ongoing stabbing investigation in Kitchener.

According to police, officers responded to reports of a stabbing in the area of Victoria Street North and St. Leger Street around 5:30 a.m. Sunday.

They said a male was located with injuries and taken to an out-of-region hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.

Investigators are looking to identify and speak with the individuals pictured in connection to the incident.
