Police have confirmed that an incinerator was found at the North Dumfries farm property belonging to Dellen Millard, but say they’re not sure whether the incinerator is connected to the death of Tim Bosma.
For much of the past week, police have been searching the Roseville Road farm and a hangar at Region of Waterloo International Airport which belong to Millard’s aviation company, Millard Air.
The farm was the focus of the investigation for much of the week, but the airport became more active with police activity Thursday morning.
Officers were seen performing a grid search of the area around the hangar, while a Hamilton Police command post was also set up at the site.
A company that supplied Millard Air with materials tells CTV News the charter air service stopped taking orders last week – the same week police say Bosma was killed by Millard and unknown accomplices.
At the farm, two conspicuous police tents remain in place. A man who works on the property says the tents are covering areas which had burn marks.
Bosma, 32, was last seen leaving his Ancaster home on May 6 with two men who had asked to test drive a truck he was selling.
Police say one of those men was Millard, and the trio was followed by a second vehicle.
The truck was seen in Brantford later that night and found several days later in a storage trailer near Vaughan.
Millard has been charged with first-degree murder, forcible confinement and theft over $5,000.
His lawyer says he will plead not guilty and the case is “more than it appears to be.”
Police say they have yet to identify the suspect who accompanied Bosma.
The suspect is described as white with a medium build, 5’9” with dark hair and wearing a red hooded sweatshirt.
