The Ontario Provincial Police always get their man – even if it takes them a few years.

Huron County OPP began investigating a series of break-and-enters in which women’s underwear was stolen in September 2001.

Between 2001 and 2004, police say they were notified of eight such break-ins, followed by another one in January 2013.

All the break-ins occurred in either Huron East or Morris-Turnberry.

On Monday, police arrested 36-year-old Huron East resident Bradley Finlayson.

Finlayson is charged with five counts of break, enter and theft, two counts of possession of property obtained by crime and one count of break and enter with intent.

He remains in custody.

OPP say they would like to speak with anyone else who may have been victimized by a similar theft.

Anyone with information is asked to contact police at 1-888-310-1122 or 519-524-8314.
